My job is to make BIM deliver what it promises: clean data, coordinated models, and fewer surprises on site.

More than 8 years in AEC with an architecture background. I have worked on high-rises, heritage renovations, office fit-outs, and research projects across Germany.

I tend to write my own tools when the existing ones do not quite fit, and I spend a lot of time in Dynamo and Visual Studio.

BEPs, LOD matrices, CDE setup, naming conventions, status workflows. Everything that needs to be in place before modeling starts.

QA/QC through phase gates and compliance audits. IDS, CBWD, asset data checks.

Projects I have managed this way range from 6,000 m² heritage renovations to 55,000 m² high-rises.

Federated models, clash detection, BCF workflows. Regular coordination cycles across architecture, structure, MEP, and facade.

Agenda prep, issue walkthroughs, resolution tracking. Mostly about making sure every clash has an owner and a deadline.

I have worked in BIM 360, ACC, BIMcollab, Solibri, Navisworks. Different projects, different platforms, same approach.

Dynamo and Python for parameter propagation, view setup, schedule generation, data exchange between models.

C# add-ins when a workflow needs a proper UI or tighter API access. WPF panels, ribbon tools, batch operations.

Most of what I have built started as a fix for something that took too many clicks or relied on a manually updated spreadsheet.

LOD 300 to 400 for architecture and structure. Families, adaptive components, curtain walls. Built to work in schedules and IFC exports, not just in 3D.

Scan-to-BIM for heritage and renovation projects. Point cloud registration, as-built modeling, floors that are never quite level.

I care about clean geometry and correctly filled parameters. A model that only looks right in a viewport is not very useful.

Order and organization matter — even when they demand extra time upfront. A well-structured foundation lets everything that follows scale cleanly and predictably.

Communication and its continuous fine-tuning are key. Clear, consistent dialogue between all stakeholders prevents more problems than any technical solution ever could.

Simplicity & Intuition

Simplicity and intuitiveness win. The best solutions feel obvious in hindsight — complexity is often a sign the problem needs rethinking, not more layers.
